Tom Gavin '75, the former goaltender for the Saint Anselm men's ice hockey squad, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1981. Gavin was known for his quick hands and excellent glove and helped in the resurgence of ice hockey on the intercollegiate level at Saint Anselm.

Across a successful four-year career, Gavin racked up over 2,000 career saves in over 85 career games played for the Hawks. He played in over 4,600 minutes for Saint Anselm and is the all-time leader in saves. As a sophomore, Gavin posted a 16-6 overall record and made 619 saves in 23 games.
