Matthew Burdick '82 was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1989. He played in every possible collegiate basketball game during his career for a total of 101 contests. Burdick holds many school records and was, for a lengthy period, the leading scorer in the history of the College with 1,733 points to his credit.

In his senior year, he was the nation’s 12th leading scorer and the 13th leading rebounder. He was also the leading rebounder in the fledgling Northeast-8 Conference.

Burdick was also a two-time winner of the Larry Mitchell Award, given to the Most Valuable Player of the Saint Anselm/New Hampshire College game. In 1983, he was awarded All-New England and All-Conference honors.
