Saint Anselm College

Leonard Nelson '36, a member of the 1986 Hall of Fame class, was a strong guard for the Saint Anselm football team. A tough man to budge, Nelson's opponents knew better than to attempt a play through his position.

Vice president of his freshman class, class secretary his sophomore year, vice president his junior jear, and class president his senior year, Nelson was heavily involved with the college outside of his sport. He was also one of the founders of the college's Red Key Society.
