Joseph Ingegneri ‘00 was a two-year standout for the men’s basketball team and left Saint Anselm ranked among the career leaders in nearly every offensive category.

At the time of his induction, Ingegneri ranked seventh on the school’s all-time scoring list with 1,652 points, second in points per game at 18.5, third in three-point percentage at .437 and was among the top-10 in five other career statistical categories. Ingegneri owned the fifth and 11th-best single-season scoring marks (631 in 1998-99; 581 in 1999-2000), the third and ninth-best single-season point per game averages (22.5 in 1998-99, 21.5 in 1999-2000) and the sixth-best single-season free throw mark (141 in 1998-99).

He was a two-time All-Northeast-10 Conference First Team member and a two-time Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year. In the 1999-2000 season, he was named to the NABC All-America Second Team, Daktronics All-America Second Team, the Division II Bulletin All-America Team and the Street & Smith’s All-America team. He was a two-time member of the NABC All-New England First Team, the Daktronics All-New England First Team and the All-ECAC Division II First Team. He was also a two-time ECAC North Division II Player of the Year and competed in the NEBCA All-Star Game in 1999-2000.
