Men’s basketball player Larry Golden '66 was a three-year member of the program. Golden had outstanding sophomore and junior seasons before having to sit out much of his senior campaign with an injury.

Playing before the advent of the three-point shot, Golden scored at least 34 points on three different occasions, including a 37-point game against Fairfield in 1965. He had career totals of 608 points and 268 rebounds. His 15.6 points per game average was the 13th best in school history at the time of his induction.
