Athletics Hall of Fame
James Morris '75 was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1980. A standout men's ice hockey player, Morris far surpassed the requirements to mark his place in the 100-career-point club. Recording 200 points over his four-year career, including 103 goals and 97 assists, the hockey star remains as one of the most successful hockey players on the Hilltop.
A senior captain, Morris led the team during his senior season with 66 points (35 goals and 31 assists). He also posted an outstanding freshman performance with 29 goals in the 1971-72 season. Morris culminated his career as a Hawks student-athlete by being named a AHCA Division II/III All-American for the 1974-75 season.
