Annamaria (Addonizio) Spiriti ’97 was a three-time All-NE10 selection at third base and shortstop over her four-year softball career. She concluded her time on the Hilltop ranked first in program history in stolen bases (39), second in home runs (7) and runs scored (110) and third all-time in hits (163) and runs batted in (89). She was the first-ever Hawks student-athlete to average more than 40 hits and 20 runs batted in over her final three seasons.

For her career, Addonizio batted .337 with a .404 on-base percentage, helping lead her teams to a combined 102–58 record. In her senior season as a co-captain, the Hawks went 33–9 and won the program's first-ever ECAC Championship. Addonizio was a two-time All-NE10 Second Team selection and was named a New England Intercollegiate Softball Association Honorable Mention selection as a senior.
