Saint Anselm College

Charles Pelonzi '37 was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1989. He led the Saint Anselm football team as a quarterback in 1936. The school press wrote a piece on him and said, “Charlie, in his senior year, has done himself proud both from an athletic and scholastic viewpoint. He is a rugged football player and after each play, he gets up and bounces back like someone on vacation after bruising his opponents.
