Frank McBride '90 was a four-year stalwart and three-year starter on the men's soccer team, missing just two games after his freshman season. He achieved an NE10 soccer rarity by earning First Team All-Conference honors at two different positions (midfielder and back) as a junior and senior. In addition to his defensive prowess, McBride chipped in with six goals and six assists for 18 career points.

McBride served as a team captain during his final two seasons and helped lead his teams to a combined 35–31–7 record over his four seasons. As a freshman, he was part of an NE10 championship team and was also a member of the 1989 NE10 runner-up squad. Following his career, he returned to the Hilltop as an assistant coach for long-time Head Coach Ed Cannon.
