Athletics Hall of Fame
Rocco LaSala '40 was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1986. An outstanding football player, LaSala played on both the offensive and defensive teams. For four years, he was an outstanding guard with exceptional speed and football skills. Successful runners frequently gave LaSala credit for their achievements.
LaSala was a member of the Red Key Society during his student years. He was one of the first members of the Saint Anselm Varsity Club Board of Directors and continued to serve his Alma Mater until his death with the same dedication that he displayed on the football field during his collegiate career.
