Baseball player Thomas “T.J.” Ebol, ‘94 is one of the school’s most accomplished players on the diamond. In 1992, he had arguably the finest season ever by a Hawks’ baseball player as a sophomore, and he went on to break numerous program records during his playing career, some of which still stand today. In 1992, Ebol hit .467 in 28 games, reaching base at a .509 clip. Those were both school records that stood until 2001.

After the season, he became the first Saint Anselm player ever selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Coaches Association (NEIBA) Division II/III All-Star Game at Fenway Park. He was selected to the ABCA All-New England Second Team in 1992, the Third Team in 1993, and was a three-time member of both the ECAC Division II All-Star Team, and the All-Northeast-10 Conference. His .390 career batting average was the top career mark in school history at the time of induction, and he ranked among the top ten in 24 different career and regular season categories. Also a solid student, Ebol was named to the All-Academic NE-10 Second Team in 1993.
