Athletics Hall of Fame
Stan Lencki '81 was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1988. Lencki was the captain of the golf team in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, sporting an average of 78.6 for his four years.
Lencki was not only a golfer and athlete of great natural talent but realized that talent itself is never sufficient if one is to achieve greatness. He found the greatest challenge in medal play and came to be respected as one of the top collegiate players in New England. Lencki was also selected as the team’s Most Valuable Player during his career on the Hilltop,
