Athletics Hall of Fame
Frank Harrington was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1983. A former men's ice hockey player at Boston College, Frank brought to Saint Anselm his ability to lead, to teach, and to encourage young men, along with his talent in the sport.
Having first persuaded the administration to re-introduce ice hockey to the college, Frank carefully and successfully rebuilt the foundation, inspiring a successful Saint Anselm program in the years that followed. Investing a great amount of time and his own funds into the program, Harrington posted a 43-30 overall record at the helm, an outstanding record given the program's modest beginning as a club program in the mid-to-late 1960's.
