Charles Jaworek '40 was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1986 for his notable performance as a football player. Although his greatest successes were performed on the gridiron, his athletic talents extended to the college's bowling, basketball, and golf teams. For the football team, he was a brilliant blocker, gifted runner, and exceptional kicker, which was highlighted in a 39-13 victory over undefeated Catholic University at Fenway Park.

Jaworek was a member of the college's Ornithological Society. He also showed his commitment to the school by serving as secretary of his class for four years.
