NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Senior
Tatum Forbes of the Saint Anselm College women's basketball team earned her third Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Week honor of the season, the league announced on Monday.
This marks her first weekly honor since Dec. 8, 2025, and the fourth of Forbes' career. Forbes and the Hawks went 1-1 in a pair of road games this past week, falling to No. 22 Bentley, 64-54, on Wednesday, before defeating Pace, 65-55, in NE10 action on Saturday.
In Wednesday's loss to the nationally ranked Falcons, Forbes had a career-day, tallying 30 of the Hawks' 54 points, shooting 13-23 from the field while knocking down her lone three-point attempt, as she scored 30 points for the first time in her career.
Forbes also had six rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 39 minutes played. This was the first 30-point game by a Hawk since last year's NE10 Player of the Year,
Melanie Hoyt '25, scored 31 against American Int'l on Nov. 13, 2024.
In Saturday's win over the Setters, Forbes led the Hawks with a near triple-double, tallying 21 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds, with two steals and a block. Overall, Forbes averaged 25.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game last week.
Forbes currently ranks second in the conference in scoring at 17.1 points per game, first in assists with 5.1 per contest and seventh in rebounding at 7.2 per game. She also ranks eighth in free throw percentage, shooting 71.5% from the charity stripe this season, as her 78 makes are second-most in the NE10.
Forbes and the Saint Anselm women's basketball team (10-8, 5-8 NE10) return home to Stoutenburgh Gym on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 5:30 p.m., taking on Southern New Hampshire University (11-9, 6-7 NE10) in a Queen City Cup matchup.
