PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Saint Anselm College women's basketball team completed a regular-season sweep of Pace University, 65-55, at the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Health, Fitness & Recreation Center in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup on Saturday.

- Saint Anselm improves to 23-26 all-time against Pace, winning the last three matchups against the Setters.
- The Hawks are now 10-8 overall with a 5-8 record in NE10 action this season.
- Senior Tatum Forbes led the Hawks with a near triple-double, tallying 21 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds, with two steals and a block.
- Senior Anna Nelson scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds, matching her career-high in rebounds for the third time this season. Nelson has scored in double figures eight times this season.
- Freshman Hannah Lynch tallied career-highs of 10 points and eight rebounds, shooting 4-8 from the field and 2-2 from deep, the first two three-pointers of her career.
- The Hawks shot 15-20 (75%) from the free throw line while the Setters went 3-6 (50%) from the charity stripe. Saint Anselm won the turnover battle, 12-18.
How it Happened
Pace knocked down three of its first four three-pointers, sparking a 15-6 run early in the first, but the Hawks answered with four straight makes, including three buckets from long range as Saint Anselm trimmed its deficit to two, 19-17, going into the second.
The Hawks tied things up at 19-19, but Pace led for the remainder of the quarter, taking a 33-27 lead at the half as Forbes led the Hawks with nine first-half points.
The third quarter was all Saint Anselm as the Hawks held the Setters to a 2-19 shooting performance and outscored Pace 21-5. Forbes had eight points and freshman
Amarilis Shubick scored six as Saint Anselm held a 10-point edge, 48-38, going into the fourth.
The Hawks led for the remainder of the game as Lynch put the Setters away, pacing the Hawks with eight fourth-quarter points to secure the win, 65-55.
