NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Senior Tatum Forbes earned her second consecutive Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Week honor, the league announced on Monday.

This marks the second honor of the season and the third Player of the Week award of Forbes' career. Forbes and the Hawks went 1-0 this past week, defeating Saint Michael's, 84-79, in their NE10 opener at the Ross Sports Center on Wednesday.

In the win, Forbes scored a career-high 29 points on an efficient 9-18 shooting from the field, going 1-2 from deep, and 10-12 from the line. She also tallied 10 rebounds and seven assists for her first double-double of the season, the eighth of her career.

Forbes has helped guide Saint Anselm to a 5-0 start to the season, its best start since the 2019-20 season when the Hawks began the year 7-0. Forbes has tallied at least 20 points in four of the five wins, shooting at least 50% or better from the field in three of them.

Forbes leads the conference in scoring at 22.4 points per game, the eighth-best mark in all of Division II.  Forbes also ranks first in assists at 5.8 per contest, ninth in DII, and ranks third in the NE10 in rebounding at 7.6 per game.

Forbes and the Hawks are back at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium on Thursday, December 18, at 3 p.m. for a non-conference matchup with Goldey Beacom College (0-7, 0-3 CACC).
