MANCHESTER, N.H. – For the first time since 2012, the Saint Anselm College baseball team will host a round of the Northeast 10 Conference Championship. The third-seeded Hawks will welcome sixth-seeded Pace University for a first-round matchup on Tuesday, May 5 at 2:30 p.m. at Sullivan Park.
Saint Anselm earned the No. 3 seed after posting a 21-15 record in conference play, marking its highest postseason placement in more than a decade.
This is the second consecutive season that Saint Anselm has qualified for the postseason under third-year head coach Harry Oringer. The Hawks finished the season 23-21 overall, marking the most wins in a single season since the 2012 campaign, in which the squad went 29-25-2 with an appearance in the NCAA East Regional.
After opening the season with weekend series in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, the Hawks began conference play by splitting a series at Adelphi University. They followed with another split before earning their first series victory of the year against Southern Connecticut State University in late March. At 11-14 overall, Saint Anselm then traveled to Worcester and swept Assumption University on the road.
The Hawks continued their momentum with a series win over Franklin Pierce University to move to 18-16 overall. After splitting a home series with Bentley University and defeating Pace, 14-9, they entered May with one series remaining against Saint Michael's College. Saint Anselm went 2-2 against the Purple Knights in Colchester to finish the regular season at 23-21 (21-15 NE10), securing the right to host a first-round playoff game.

Sophomore center fielder Coleson Kaluza ranks first in the NE10 with 25 stolen bases and sits second in both runs scored (64) and on-base percentage (.515). He is also tied for third in the conference with 38 walks.
Andrew Chenevert delivered a strong and consistent campaign on the mound, finishing the regular season with a perfect 6-0 record across seven appearances in his junior season. The right-hander logged 37.0 innings, allowing just 15 earned runs for a 3.65 ERA while striking out 31 batters, holding opponents to 36 hits while issuing just eight walks.
Chenevert opened the year with five consecutive victories, highlighted by a pair of scoreless outings against AIC and SCSU. Closing out the regular season, he added another scoreless appearance at Saint Michael's.
In his first collegiate season, right-handed pitcher Finn Ramseyer emerged as a frequent option out of the bullpen, making 16 appearances and logging 17.0 innings. He finished with a 5-2 record and five saves, striking out 24 batters while issuing just six walks.
The Hawks posted a 3-1 record against Pace through four matchups in 2026, winning twice at Sullivan Park and twice in Pleasantville, N.Y. Junior shortstop Mavrick Bourdeau (4-for-10) and Powers (6-for-15) earn batted .400 against the Setters in the regular season. Dating back to the 2005 season, Saint Anselm holds a 17-14 advantage in the all-time series.
