SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Sophomore Ben Turpin of the No. 2 nationally-ranked Saint Anselm College men's lacrosse team was named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's Team of the Week, the association announced earlier this week.

Turpin posted seven goals and two assists in a 1-1 week, helping the Hawks defeat No. 20 Saint Michael's on Wednesday with three goals and one assist before posting a four-goal, one-assist showing in an overtime loss at No. 1 Adelphi on Saturday.

Turpin and the Hawks (8-1, 4-1 NE10) will head to Springfield, Mass. for another NE10 matchup against American International College (1-9, 0-4 NE10) on Wednesday, April 8. The opening draw is slated for 6 p.m. at Ronald J. Abdow Field.
