NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Northeast 10 Conference released the fifth week of outdoor track & field weekly honors on Tuesday. The release recognizes freshman Andrew Henaghen as both field and rookie of the week for the men, and freshman Mackenzie Hibbert as rookie of the week for the women.

This weekend, both teams competed in the Wildcat Invitational, at the Reggie Atkins Track & Field Facility. Their strong week of competition at the University of New Hampshire will mark both athletes' first weekly awards.

On Friday, Henaghen competed in the javelin, where he threw 58.57m to set a program record and claim first place in the event. This marks the third time this season he has broken the program record in the javelin during his rookie outdoor campaign, most recently at the UMass Lowell George Davis Invitational, where he recorded a throw of 57.11m.

Hibbert competed in both the long jump and triple jump on Saturday, setting personal records in both events. The freshman placed second in the triple jump with a mark of 11.06m and also earned a top-ten finish in the long jump, reaching 5.20m.

Both the men's and women's track & field teams will compete in the NE10 Outdoor Conference Championship this weekend, Friday May 1 and Saturday May 2. The event will be hosted by Southern Connecticut State University at the Jess Dow Field.
