MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Saint Anselm men's golf team played in the second and final round of the Penmen Spring Invitational at the Derryfield Country Club, hosted by Southern New Hampshire University, on Tuesday.
Eight teams competed on the par-70, 6,143-yard course, with the Hawks finishing in seventh place, combining to shoot a 297 (+17) on the first day and a 310 (+30) on the second day to finish at +47. Southern New Hampshire and Assumption University tied for first place as the two teams finished at +16. Post University came in third place at +19, followed by Bentley University at +24, Felician University at +36, Dominican University (N.Y.) at +46, and Assumption's B team in eighth at +53.
SNHU's Gavin Richardson topped the individual rankings as he used a 66 (-4) on Tuesday to fuel his rise to the top, finishing the week at -3 to win the two-day invitational.
How it Happened:
- Junior Brady Warren finished in 12th place at +6 to lead the Hawks as he shot a 76 (+6) on Tuesday with two birdies.
- Sophomore Brandon Vitarisi had the best round of the day for Saint Anselm, shooting a 73 (+3), sinking one eagle and one birdie, as he finished +9 for the week, placing 22nd.
- Competing individually, sophomore Nick Nowak placed 26th, shooting a 79 (+9) in the second round, closing out the week at +10.
- Sophomore Jack Murray finished at +11 to place 30th after shooting a 77 (+7) on Tuesday.
- Freshmen Aidan Finn and Carl Sirrianna rounded out the Hawks' competitors as Finn shot an 84 (+14) and Sirrianna shot an 82 (+12) in the final round.

The Saint Anselm men's golf team will begin its final two-day tournament of the 2025-26 season on Friday, April 17 at Beaver Meadow Country Club in Concord, N.H. when the Hawks compete in the Penmen Season Finale hosted by Southern New Hampshire University.
