Reitmeyer Named NE10 Player of the Week

4/13/2026 1:35:00 PM

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Senior Rose Reitmeyer of the Saint Anselm College softball team earned her first Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Week honor this season, the league announced on Monday.

Reitmeyer helped the Hawks to a 4-4 week of NE10 conference play, sweeping back-to-back doubleheaders over Bentley and Saint Michael's before dropping a four-game weekend series at Adelphi. Reitmeyer becomes the first Hawk this season to earn an NE10 weekly honor.

Reitmeyer started in left field in all eight games, leading the team with three home runs and six extra-base hits as she added to her league-leading total of 10 homers on the season. She slashed .393/.433/.821 over the eight-game stretch, recording hits in six of the eight contests.

Overall, Reitmeyer went 11-28, driving in nine runs batted in, scoring nine times herself, with three doubles, three home runs, one walk drawn, and one hit by a pitch. She was also perfect in the field, making eight putouts with one assist for a 1.000 fielding percentage.

Along with topping the NE10 leaderboard in home runs, Reitmyer ranks first in runs scored (34), second in slugging percentage (.764), third in runs batted in (33), third in triples (4), fifth in OPS (on base plus slugging) (1.189), and sixth in hits (38). Reitmeyer has posted 13 multi-hit games this season and leads the Hawks in base hits, home runs, runs scored, runs batted in, SLG%, OPS, and triples.

Her 10 home runs this season are tied for second-most in a single season in program history, as she sits two home runs behind the record of 12 set by Amy Parece in 1999. Her 21 career home runs also rank third all-time by a Hawk, trailing Nicole Boucher, who hit 24 from 2011-14, and Julie LeClair, who totaled 23 from 2013-16.

Retimeyer and the Hawks travel across town for a Queen City Cup matchup at Southern New Hampshire University (18-14, 10-8 NE10) tomorrow, with the Hawks and Penmen playing a pair of NE10 contests at the SNHU Softball Field, with first pitch slated for 2 p.m.
