HOOKSETT, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College softball team allowed just three runs in two games as the Hawks swept Southern New Hampshire University in a Northeast 10 Conference doubleheader, earning wins of 1-0 and 5-3 on Tuesday afternoon at the SNHU Softball Field.
Game 1: Saint Anselm 1 (17-18, 9-10 NE10), Southern N.H. 0 (18-15, 10-9 NE10)

- Junior Kendra Lee improved to 8-7 in the circle, tossing her third complete game shutout of the season, allowing just three hits with two strikeouts.

How it Happened
After a scoreless opening inning, the Hawks broke through in the second as Fox launched a solo home run to left field to give Saint Anselm a 1-0 lead.
Lee worked efficiently in the circle, scattering three hits and working out of a fourth-inning jam with runners on second and third to keep Southern New Hampshire off the board.
Saint Anselm threatened to add on in the middle innings, putting runners on base in the third and fourth, but the score remained 1-0.
The Penmen put a runner on in the seventh, but Lee induced a pair of outs to close out the complete game shutout and secure the victory.
Game 2: Saint Anselm 5 (18-18, 10-10 NE10), Southern N.H. 3 (18-16, 10-10 NE10)

- Saint Anselm improves to 30-34 all-time against Southern New Hampshire.

- Reitmeyer finished 1-3 with two runs batted in, including the go-ahead RBI single in the seventh.
- Trisket led the offense with a 3-3 performance, scoring twice.
- Cipriani went 1-4, while junior Abby Wrinn added a 1-3 effort.

How it Happened
Southern New Hampshire struck first in the second inning, capitalizing on a pair of Saint Anselm errors to take a 2-0 lead.
The Hawks responded in the third, scoring three runs to take the lead. Trisket reached on a bunt single before advancing into scoring position, and Reitmeyer drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. Later in the inning, Fox delivered a two-run double to give Saint Anselm a 3-2 advantage.
The Penmen tied the game in the sixth inning with an unearned run, making it 3-3 heading into the final frame.
Saint Anselm answered in the seventh as Trisket singled and moved into scoring position before Reitmeyer delivered an RBI single to put the Hawks back in front. Fox followed with a bases-loaded walk to extend the lead to 5-3.
Lee shut the door in the bottom half, retiring the side to secure the sweep for Saint Anselm.
