MANCHESTER, N.H. For the first time in program history, the Saint Anselm College men's lacrosse team has been ranked No. 2 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Coaches Poll.

The Hawks are off to a 5-0 start, marking the fifth time in program history they have opened a season with five consecutive wins and the second such start in as many years under second-year head coach Drew Bourdeau '18.

Saint Anselm has already secured ranked victories over Bentley University and Molloy University in the same week, defeating the then-No. 10 Falcons, 10-6, before earning a 16-9 win over the then-No. 12 Lions. The Hawks followed that with a 14-7 win over Mercy University in their final non-conference game, then opened Northeast 10 Conference play with a 17-3 victory over Franklin Pierce University.

The Hawks began the 2026 season ranked No. 3 in the USILA Poll, dropped to No. 4 for one week, and have since climbed to No. 2. Saint Anselm has now appeared in every USILA poll since February 2020, following a brief period receiving votes outside the rankings.

Saint Anselm (5-0, 1-0 NE10) returns to action on Wednesday, March 25, hosting Bentley (3-4, 1-1 NE10) at 4 p.m. at Grappone Stadium.
