MANCHESTER, N.H. – Saint Anselm baseball rising sophomore George Slauson earned two Cranberry Baseball League (CBL) postseason honors, being selected as both Player and Rookie of the Year, the league announced last week. He becomes the first player in CBL history to earn both honors in the same season.

In his first season with the Braintree White Sox, Slauson slashed .439 / .500 / .667 producing 25 hits including four doubles and three homers. The Plymouth, Mass. native scored 16 runs while driving in 12 at the plate. Slauson showed discipline, drawing five walks while only striking out once.

He finished the season 13-for-18 at the plate over the last six games to help the White Sox to a 12-8 record.

Slauson played in 45 of 46 games for Saint Anselm over the 2025 season, producing a .333 / .451 / .620 slash line as a freshman.
