MANCHESTER, N.H. – Sophomores Meghan Deneen (Marlborough, Mass.) and Samantha Swidorski (Woodbury, Minn.) of the Saint Anselm College women's soccer team were both named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team.

The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes women's soccer honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District® nominees must play in 90% of their teams' matches and record at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, with graduate students needing a 3.50 GPA or better at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Deneen and Swidorski made their first appearances on the CSC Academic All-District Team coming off a stellar season, both on the field and in the classroom. Deneen was selected to the Northeast 10 All-Conference Second team, while Swidorski tied the program record for most appearances in net in a single season and was named to the NE10 All-Conference Third team.

Deneen earned All-Conference honors after a standout sophomore campaign that saw her lead the Hawks in both goals scored (eight) and points (21). Both marks ranked within the top ten in the NE10. She also ranked in the top ten for both shots and shots on goal while starting every game for Saint Anselm this season. Deneen came through in some of the most crucial moments in the postseason, rocketing in the game-winning PK goal in the NE10 Championship to give the Hawks the win and their first-ever automatic NCAA tournament berth. In the classroom, Deneen earned her CSC All-District nod by posting a 3.583 GPA as a Biology major.

Swidorski earned All-Conference honors thanks to a consistent and reliable season that saw her start every game for the Hawks while posting a 1.05 goals-against-average, which ranked in the top five in the Conference. Swidorski also posted three shutouts during the season and never gave up more than two goals in a game. She posted a 10-2-5 record throughout the season and made several key saves throughout the playoffs to anchor the Hawks on their NE10 Championship run. In the classroom, Swidorski earned CSC All-District honors with a 3.624 GPA as a Computer Science major.

The Saint Anselm women's soccer team finished up their season on Sunday, Nov. 23 with a loss in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, falling 2-1 to No.11 ranked Jefferson University. The Hawks's 2025 season saw them win the program's second-ever NE10 Championship, with first-year head coach Lee Moyce being named NE10 Coach of the Year and ten players being named to NE10 All-Conference and All-Rookie teams.

About College Sports Communicators
College Sports Communicators (CSC) was founded in 1957 and is a 3,200+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The current name of the organization was adopted following a member-wide vote on Aug. 31, 2022.

From its founding in 1957 until the 2022 name change, the organization is known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The name change signaled a major step in a larger strategic plan to highlight the association's evolution and expansion. The move better aligns with the association's membership makeup and further positions the organization to support and advocate for its members who serve in the communications, digital, and creative sports industry, regardless of position or title.

The organization, which celebrated its 65th year during the 2021-22 academic year, is the second oldest management association in all intercollegiate athletics. College Sports Communicators became an affiliated partner with NACDA (National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics) in December 2008.
