Lee Moyce

Lee Moyce was named the head coach of the women's soccer program in May of 2025 by Director of Athletics Phil Rowe, as the interim tag was removed from his title, becoming the 11th head coach in program history.

"I am honored and excited to be named the head coach at Saint Anselm," said Moyce. "It is a privilege to lead such a talented and hardworking group of student-athletes. I'm grateful to Coach Rowe and the College for their trust, and I am committed to building a team that reflects the values of Saint Anselm."

In Moyce's first season at the helm in the fall of 2025, the Hawks did what no team in program history had done in 34 years, winning the Northeast 10 Conference. regular season and postseason titles. Moyce was also named the Northeast 10 Coach of the Year and became the first Saint Anselm women's soccer head coach to receive the award in their debut season and finished tied for second in wins by a first-year head coach (10), trailing only 13 victories in 1995. Moyce is also the second NE10 Coach of the Year honoree in program history, joining former head coach Steve Clifford, the current coaching advisor for the Phoenix Suns and former head coach of the Orlando Magic and Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA), who won the award in 1988.

Under Moyce's leadership, the Hawks posted a 10-3-5 record, including a 7-0-2 mark in NE10 play. Saint Anselm won both of its NE10 playoff games in penalty kicks to secure the program's first postseason title since 1994. It was also the Hawks' first regular-season title since 1994—and just the second in program history. It was also the first time since 1994 that the Hawks finished undefeated in conference play. After a successful conference tournament run, the Hawks earned the No. 1 seed in the East Region ahead of the NCAA Division II Championship, a first-time feat for the program. Saint Anselm fell in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to Jefferson University, 2-1, at Grappone Stadium.

The Hawks finished the 2025 season receiving votes in the final United Soccer Coaches Poll, after holding a top-25 national ranking twice during the season. The Hawks debuted on the poll at No. 17 in week nine of the season — their first national ranking since 2023. Moyce guided Saint Anselm to a program-record 11 NE10 All-Conference selections, including one member of the First Team, two members of the second team, five Third Team selections, and three All-Rookie selections.

Along with a record showing on the NE10 All-Conference teams, Moyce saw two of his student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team honors, two Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-East Region Team honorees, four members of the Division II United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Teams, three selections to the NE10 Academic All-Conference Team, and four members of the Division II New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Associate (NEWISA) All-New England teams.

Moyce joined the Saint Anselm College women's soccer coaching staff in February of 2023 as an assistant coach under former head coach Joel Bancroft. With a wealth of coaching experience at both the collegiate and club levels, Moyce brings a strong background in player development, recruitment, and leadership to the Hilltop.

Prior to joining Saint Anselm, Moyce spent three seasons with the Wheaton College women's soccer program, including two as co-head coach. During his tenure, he guided the Lyons to 12 wins and a NEWMAC Quarterfinals appearance in 2022. Under his leadership, Wheaton saw multiple players earn conference honors while excelling academically, with several athletes named to the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team.

Beyond the college game, Moyce has a proven track record in club soccer. He coached the NEFC 2006 team to a Development Player League (DPL) National Championship in 2023 and served as the NEFC Metro West Girls Regional Director of Coaching. His extensive club experience includes six years as a technical director with Global Premier Soccer, where he led the GPS-FC Bayern 2003 girls national team to a third-place finish in the 2016 Gothia Cup. He also held coaching roles with Weston Soccer Club and guided teams to state and regional titles.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Moyce played four years with the University of Portsmouth Football Club, captaining the squad for two seasons. He also had a stint with the Chicago Fire U23 team. His coaching career began at his alma mater, where he led the University of Portsmouth Women's Football Club and helped establish the University of Portsmouth Boys Club.

Moyce holds a US Soccer D License and a UEFA B License, reflecting his commitment to coaching education and player development.
