HOPKINTON, N.H. - The Saint Anselm College women's cross-country team competed at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championship from Hopkinton Fairgrounds on Friday afternoon and picked up an 11th place finish out of 19 teams.
Junior
Anyelina Martinez (Lawrence, Mass.) led the way for Saint Anselm with a 16th place finish in a field full of competitive NCAA Division I runners. Her time of 18:17:11 set a new program record in the women's 5K and is also a new personal best in the event.
Following behind and taking 54th place was senior
Nora Conway (Stoneham, Mass.), who recorded a time of 19:12.65. Rounding out the top three runners for the Hawks was senior
Ava O'Donnell (Raynham, Mass.), who notched 70th place with a time of 19:25.95.
