Conway and O'Donnell Lead Hawks at NCAA Division II East Region Championship

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Saint Anselm College women's cross-country team competed at the NCAA Division II East Region Championship on Saturday, finishing 7th in a field of competitive running.  
 

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Senior Nora Conway (Stoneham, Mass.)  led the action on Saturday taking home 12th place with a time of 22:23.5. Classmate Ava O'Donnell (Raynham, Mass.) crossed the finish line just behind, tabbing 16th place with a time of 22:37.0. Rounding out the top three runners was sophomore Sophia Olsen (Rochester, N.H.) grabbing 42nd place with a time of 23:48.9.
  • The next two finishers for the Hawks finished within ten seconds of each other. Junior Cara Morris (Walpole, Mass.) finished in 68th with a time of 24:36.9, with Lauren-Kate Garceau (Fairfield, Vt.) finishing in 69th just six seconds behind with a time of 24:42.0. In 71st place finished junior Grace Perley (North Conway, N.H.), earning a time of 24:44.7.

  • The program saw two of their own be named to USTFCCCA All-Region team, seniors Conway and O'Donnell.
