Men's Cross Country Competes at NCAA East Region Championship

HOPKINTON, N.H – The Saint Anselm College men's cross country team competed at the 2023 NCAA Division II East Region Championship on Saturday at the Hopkinton Fair Grounds finishing in 14th place with a team score of 334 points out of 19 teams. 
  
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Sophomore Neil Harrington (Malden, Mass.) was the top finisher for the Hawks after clocking in at 33:15.21 for a 45th-place finish out of 138 competitors. 
  • Following him was junior Steven Cormier (Reading, Mass.) and senior Chris Hogan (Plymouth, Mass.) who each placed in the top 75 of the championship for Saint Anselm. 
  • Freshman Adam Holodowski (Milford, N.H.) made his East Region debut for the Hawks finishing with a time of 34:07.16, good for 77th place. 
  • Graduate student Alex Horan (Clifton, Va.), sophomore Andrew Keene (Kennebunk, Maine), and senior Tyler Scopelites (Litchfield, N.H.) rounded out for Saint Anselm all finishing in the top 100 of the championship.
