The Hawks, who are the fourth-ranked team in the East Region according to the United Soccer Coaches, advanced to the NE10 Semifinals after downing Bentley on Nov. 7 by a 1-0 score. Saint Anselm is the No. 6 seed in the conference tournament and, thanks to a 1-0 victory over Bentley in the NE10 Quarterfinals, recorded its first postseason win since downing UMass Lowell in the 2006 season. The Hawks are 10-5-1 on the season entering play Thursday.
The Golden Knights enter as the eighth-ranked team nationally and the second seed in the NE10 playoffs. Saint Rose recorded a 1-0 victory over Adelphi on Nov. 7, advancing them into the Semifinals. With the win, the Golden Knights improved to 13-1-3 on the season.

SCOUTING SAINT ANSELM
- Sophomore Olivia Gotobed (North Andover, Mass.) scored her team-leading eighth goal in the sixth minute of Sunday's Quarterfinal match against Bentley. Gotobed was named to the NE10 All-Conference Second Team on Wednesday and has 18 points on the season, adding two assists to her eight goals, which are tied for second in the conference.
- Joining Gotobed on the All-Conference Second Team are junior Kathryn White (Georgetown, Mass.) and sophomore Delaney Glode (Kennebunkport, Maine) while senior Regan Pratt (Newburyport, Mass.) collected Third Team placement.
- Glode and White aid the Hawks defense and transition game primarily, aiding the team to 1.03 goals-against per game which translates to 17 goals against in 16 games. White has recorded two goals on the season, both standing as game-winning goals while Glode scored her first collegiate goal against Adelphi in overtime on Sept. 18.
- Pratt is tied for second in the NE10 in assists with six. She sits in second on the Hawks with four goals scored and 14 points. Freshman Sydney Wnek (Haverhill, Mass.) ranks third on the team with eight points, stemming from two goals and four assists.
- Junior Kate Macaluso (Malverne, N.Y.) has started all 16 games in goal for Saint Anselm. She has accumulated 58 saves and a .773 save percentage. Macaluso has six shutouts on the season which puts her in a tie for sixth in program history for most in a single season.
- The Hawks are looking to achieve multiple NE10 postseason victories for the first time since winning its lone NE10 Championship in 1991. All-time in the NE10 postseason, the Hawks are 8-20.
SCOUTING SAINT ROSE
- The Golden Knights remained unbeaten through their first 14 matches of the season before suffering their first and only loss to date against Southern Connecticut State on Oct. 30. In their two matches since, Saint Rose has outscored their opponents by an 8-0 margin. Saint Rose collected two major awards and placed seven student-athletes on the all-conference rosters.
- Lauren Amerena notched her fourth goal of the season in the 11th minute, recording the only goal of the match in the NE10 Quarterfinals. She is tied for third on the team in goals. Mia Klammer leads the NE10 with 11 goals scored. Klammer was named the conference Rookie of the Year on Wednesday.
- Janina Mueller holds the conference lead with eight assists, securing a spot on the NE10 All-Conference Second Team. Tatiana Leggiero sits in second on the team with four helpers.
- Marika Laurendeau captured the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year award for the second consecutive season. Laurendeau has allowed just seven goals in 17 games this season, registering a 0.40 goals-against average and a .877 save percentage. She has accumulated 50 saves and has been part of 11 shutouts this season.
- Saint Rose is looking to advance to its 10th conference championship and currently owns a 33-12-1 record in conference postseason play.
ALL-TIME vs. SAINT ROSE
- The Golden Knights hold a 15-4-4 record against the Hawks in the all-time series.
- The squads met earlier in the season, marking the NE10 opener for both programs. Saint Rose captured a 3-2 double overtime victory on Sunday, Sept. 12. Wnek opened the scoring with her first career goal in the third minute before the Golden Knights answered with a goal in the 38th minute and took the lead in the 55th. Junior Grace Foley (Middleton, Mass.) found the back of the net for her first on the season in the 68th minute, knotting the score at two. Kaelyn Britt found the game-winner in the 101st minute to give Saint Rose the 3-2 win.
- On Oct. 13, 2018, the Hawks earned a 2-1 win, marking the last win over Saint Rose in the series. Outside of the first meeting between the programs on Sept. 9, 1995, the Golden Knights have defended their home turf holding a 8-1-2 record when at home.
- Under Head Coach Joel Bancroft, the Hawks are 1-2-1 against the Golden Knights and will meet in the NE10 playoffs for the second time in three full seasons of play.
