MANCHESTER, N.H. – Saint Anselm College Interim Director of Athletics Phil Rowe announced on Wednesday, May 7th, that the interim tag has been dropped from head women's soccer coach Lee Moyce's title, and the college has appointed him as the next leader of the women's soccer program.

Moyce, who officially becomes the 11th head coach in Saint Anselm women's soccer program history, moves into the role following one season as an assistant under former head coach Joel Bancroft. With extensive experience at the collegiate and club levels, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to player development, recruitment, and program growth.

"We are grateful to Lee for his efforts with the program this spring and are excited to have Lee step into this important role," said Rowe. "Lee's dedication to the sport and the student-athletes at Saint Anselm has been evident since his arrival, and we are confident that he will continue to build upon the foundation of success within our women's soccer program."

"I am honored and excited to be named the head coach at Saint Anselm," said Moyce. "It is a privilege to lead such a talented and hardworking group of student-athletes. I'm grateful to Coach Rowe and the College for their trust, and I am committed to building a team that reflects the values of Saint Anselm."

Prior to joining Saint Anselm, Moyce spent three seasons in Norton, Mass. with the Wheaton College women's soccer team, including two as co-head coach. During his tenure, he led the Lyons to 12 wins and a berth in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Quarterfinals in 2022. Under his leadership, multiple players earned conference honors while excelling in the classroom, with several named to the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team.

Beyond the college game, Moyce has made a significant impact in club soccer. In 2023, he coached the NEFC 2006 team to a Development Player League (DPL) National Championship and served as the NEFC Metro West Girls Regional Director of Coaching. His prior experience includes six years as a technical director with Global Premier Soccer, where he guided the GPS-FC Bayern 2003 girls national team to a third-place finish at the 2016 Gothia Cup. He has also held coaching roles with Weston Soccer Club, where he led teams to state and regional titles.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Moyce played four years for the University of Portsmouth Football Club, captaining the squad for two seasons. He also had a stint with the Chicago Fire U23 team before transitioning into coaching. His career began at his alma mater, where he coached the University of Portsmouth Women's Football Club and helped establish the University of Portsmouth Boys Club.

Moyce holds a U.S. Soccer C License and a UEFA B License, further demonstrating his commitment to coaching education and player development.

Moyce and his wife, Jenna, reside in Nashua with their three children — Emma, Jayden, and Jacob.
