COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the second consecutive year, the Saint Anselm College field hockey coaching staff, led by fourteenth-year head coach Carolyn King-Robitalle, was named the Division II East Region Coaching Staff of the Year by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. King-Robitaille's lone assistant, Emma Mawn, rounded out the 2025 staff.

Under King-Robitaille and Mawn's direction, the Hawks took home their first Northeast 10 Conference Championship since 2023 with a thrilling double overtime victory over Bentley University to return to the NCAA Championship for the eighth time in program history.

Saint Anselm, ranked eighth in the nation, finished 16-6 overall, falling to the eventual national champions, Shippensburg University, in the First Round of the national tournament. The squad compiled an impressive 10-2 conference record and earned the third seed in the NE10 Championship before going the distance to be crowned NE10 Champions for the third time in program history.

Multiple Hawks earned postseason recognition, highlighted by senior Millie Forster's selection as the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year, as nine student-athletes earned NE10 postseason recognition. Forster and classmate Maggie Burchill were named to the NFHCA Senior Team for their contributions to the program, both on and off the field. Additionally, five student-athletes were named to All-East Region teams. Burchill was named the NE10 Championship's Most Outstanding Player and was joined by Forster and junior Laurentien van den Akker on the All-Tournament Team.

As a team, Saint Anselm went on an eight-game winning streak through the NE10 postseason and compiled 10 shutouts over the course of the campaign. The Hawks ranked sixth nationally in winning percentage (.727) and seventh in shutouts per game (0.45) and scoring margin (1.94).

Under King-Robitaille's direction, Saint Anselm has put together a 185-82 record and have won at least 14 games in each of the last 10 full seasons. She currently sits atop the NCAA Division II ranks among active coaches with a .693 career winning percentage.

The 2025 NFHCA Division II National Coaching Staff of the Year is set to be announced on Thursday, Jan. 15.
