MANCHESTER, N.H. – Sophomore Taylor Lacerda of the Saint Anselm College women's volleyball team was named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes women's volleyball student-athletes in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District® nominees must play in 90% of their teams' matches and record at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, with graduate students needing a 3.50 GPA or better at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

This is Lacerda's CSC Academic All-District Team debut, coming off an impressive season, both on the field and in the classroom. Lacerda played in all 25 matches, appearing in 86 sets, while being third on the Hawks in scoring with 210 points this season. Her 179 kills ranked second on the team, and she also tallied 23 service aces and 17 assists.

On the defensive end, Lacerda recorded career-highs of 14 blocks and 157 digs. The sophomore from Franklin, Mass., had nine matches with 10+ kills and recorded a career-high 17 kills in a non-conference win at Assumption. In the classroom, Lacerda posted a 3.67 GPA as an English major en route to her CSC Academic All-District nod.

Lacerda and the Hawks finished the season 12-13 with a 4-5 record in Northeast 10 Conference play, bowing out of the NE10 Championship in the first round at American International College.

About College Sports Communicators
College Sports Communicators (CSC) was founded in 1957 and is a 3,200+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The current name of the organization was adopted following a member-wide vote on Aug. 31, 2022.

From its founding in 1957 until the 2022 name change, the organization was known as the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The name change signaled a major step in a larger strategic plan to highlight the association's evolution and expansion. The move better aligns with the association's membership makeup and further positions the organization to support and advocate for its members who serve in the communications, digital, and creative sports industry, regardless of position or title.

The organization, which celebrated its 65th year during the 2021-22 academic year, is the second-oldest management association in all intercollegiate athletics. College Sports Communicators became an affiliated partner with NACDA (National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics) in December 2008.
