COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Seniors Maggie Burchill and Millie Forster of the nationally-ranked Saint Anselm College field hockey team were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association Division II Senior Team following stellar performances in their final collegiate campaigns.
Burchill was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Northeast 10 Conference Championship after recording the game-tying and game-winning goals in a 3-2 double overtime win over Bentley University, securing the Hawks' third NE10 title in program history. The midfielder from Braintree, Mass. notched three goals and three assists for nine points over 22 starts.
Forster was named the NE10's Defensive Player of the Year after helping Saint Anselm back to the NCAA Championship in 2025 in the program's 11th strip to the national tournament. The Cheshire, England native started in all 22 games, adding 12 points on five goals and two assists. Forster helped limit opponents to 1.05 goals per game as the Hawks compiled nine shutouts in the regular season.
Burchill and Forster are among just 36 Division II student-athletes chosen for the honor, which recognizes competitive excellence, leadership, and meaningful impact within their programs.
