Forster Named NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Senior back Millie Forster of the nationally-ranked Saint Anselm College field hockey team earned her first career Northeast 10 Conference (NE10) Defensive Player of the Week nod, the conference office announced on Monday.

In a 2-0 week against NE10 competition, Forster's defensive unit helped secure two shutouts as the Hawks allowed just seven shots on goal and three corners combined against Saint Thomas Aquinas College and Southern Connecticut State University. Additionally, Forster scored two goals in Saturday's 3-0 victory at SCSU.

Forster and the Hawks will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 22 as they play host to Bentley University (10-5, 8-1 NE10). The start time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Grappone Stadium.
