NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The nationally-ranked Saint Anselm College field hockey team earned its sixth shutout victory of the season with a 3-0 Northeast 10 Conference (NE10) road win over Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday afternoon at Jess Dow Field.

How it Happened
The Hawks got on the board twice in the opening 9:39 of the contest as sophomore Leila Härtel and senior Millie Forster struck to make it 2-0 in favor of the hosts.
Forster added her second tally of the game off a corner opportunity with under 10 minutes to play in regulation.

The Hawks (10-5, 7-2 NE10) will host Bentley University (10-5, 8-1 NE10) on Wednesday, Oct. 22. The scheduled start time from Grappone Stadium is 7:00 p.m. Saint Anselm defeated the Falcons in their previous non-conference matchup this season on Sep. 10, 2-1.
