SOMERSWORTH, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College men's golf team hosted the 2024 Hawks Spring Invitational at the Oaks Golf Links on Thursday, claiming third place out of seven teams with a 40-over 608.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Freshman Brady Warren (Lynn, Mass.) tied for sixth place on the individual leaderboard after carding an eight-over 150. He bounced back in the second round shooting a two-over 73 featuring four birdies.
• Senior Robbie Forti (Danvers, Mass.) was one of five golfers tied for ninth after firing a nine-over 151 on the day.
• Fifth-year Lucas Dascoli (Everett, Mass.) and junior Michael Papamechail (Danvers, Mass.) each carded a 12-over 154 to tie for 22nd place. Dascoli's best 18 holes came in the second round after shooting a four-over 75 with a pair of birdies, while Papamechail fired a six-over 77 in both rounds.
• Securing 25th place for Saint Anselm was sophomore Chris O'Grady (Middleton, Mass.) with a 14-over 156. Close behind him was classmate Peter Torres (North Dighton, Mass.) ending the day with a 16-over 158 to tie in 28th place.  
• Sophomore Anthony Picano (Reading, Mass.) carded an 18-over 160 tying for 33rd, while senior Trevor Janis (Burlington, Mass.) and sophomore Connor Powers (Braintree, Mass.) rounded out for the Hawks in 35th and 44th place, respectively.
