CONCORD, N.H. – The Hawks men's golf team fired an opening round 356 (-4) and currently sit in a tie for first after day one of the two-day 2024 Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) Spring Invitational at Beaver Meadow Golf Club. Saint Anselm is tied with Post University as the only two teams to shoot under par.

Three Hawks shot under par on the day, paced by fifth-year
Lucas Dascoli's (Everett, Mass.) four-under 68. Dascoli is currently in second place for the individual event. Junior
Michael Papamechail (Danvers, Mass.) carded a two-under 70, good for a tie for third, while senior
Robbie Forti (Danvers, Mass.) finished one under, tied for fifth overall.

Trevor Janis (Burlington, Mass.) sits in a tie for 23
rd with a three-over 75 and sophomore
Anthony Picano (Reading, Mass.) is tied for 47
th with a nine-over 81 in round one.
The second and final round tees off on Tuesday, April 16.
