7/25/2023 1:00:00 PM

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's tennis team announced its schedule for the 2023 season on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hawks will be led by head coach Elizabeth Lincoln who will enter her first official season at the helm after serving last year as the assistant coach for the Saint Anselm women's tennis program. During her time as an assistant coach, the team qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) postseason for the first time since the 2010-11 campaign. Saint Anselm ended their 2022 season with a 3-5 conference record to secure the sixth seed in the NE-10 standings. On October 19th, the Hawks dueled Le Moyne College in the First Round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship but saw their postseason play conclude after falling 4-0 to the Dolphins.

Saint Anselm has 11 matches lined up for the 2023 season featuring three non-conference contests and eight Northeast-10 Conference matches. The Hawks will be on the road for their first match against Roger Williams on September 4th with a 1:00 PM start time. Last year, Saint Anselm posted a narrow 4-3 loss to Roger Williams during their first matchup in either program's history.

The Hawks will face off against Holy Cross on September 6th for their 2023 season home opener. Conference play will begin shortly after as Saint Anselm takes on the 2022 Northeast-10 Conference champions Southern New Hampshire University on September 10th. Other notable contests this season include Franklin Pierce on September 16th, New Haven on October 7th, and Adelphi on October 14th.
