MANSFIELD, Mass. – For the third straight week, freshman
Hollyn Frano (Cave Creek, Ariz.) of the Saint Anselm College women's volleyball team earned the Northeast-10 Conference (NE10) Rookie of the Week award, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
Frano posted 29 total kills this past week for the Hawks along with eight digs, three service aces, and a block. She led the team in kills both matches including 12 kills during Tuesday's 3-0 victory over Franklin Pierce University to pick up their first conference win of the season. She led the team with 17 kills against Bentley University, just one shy of her season-high, along with three digs and two aces. Frano currently is ranked fifth overall in the conference with 150 total kills and eighth in kills per set (2.88).
