RINDGE, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College men's cross country team placed 8th at the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup hosted by Franklin Pierce University on Friday afternoon. The Hawks collected 255 points as a team to edge out the University of Bridgeport in eighth by 35 points.

• Saint Anselm will compete at the 2023 Northeast-10 Conference Championship on Sunday, Oct. 22 in Springfield, Mass. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Sophomore Thomas Sullivan (Arlington, Va.) was the top finisher for the Hawks after securing 74th place with a time of 30:23.3 in the 8K race. 
• Following close behind was freshman Diego Infante (Marlborough, Mass.) clocking in at 31:03.4, good for 76th place. 
• Junior Nick Longo (Bridgewater, Mass.) took 83rd in the meet with his time of 32:30.2. 
• Seniors Chris Yapp (Stow, Mass.) and Andrew Pitney (Shrewsbury, Mass.) rounded out the race for the Hawks finishing in 86th and 87th, respectively.
