MANCHESTER, N.H. – Head coach Braden Zamore of the Saint Anselm College women's volleyball team has announced the team's schedule for the 2022 season.

The Hawks will be making their earliest start to the season since the 2018 campaign when they host Valdosta State University on Thursday, Aug. 25 from Stoutenburgh Gymnasium.

Saint Anselm welcomes Saint Michael's, D'Youville, Roberts Wesleyan, and Kutztown to the Hilltop for a pair of tri-matches as part of the Saint Anselm/SNHU Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 27 and Sunday, Aug. 28. Saint Anselm plays its first matches away from home on Friday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 3 in the Kentucky Wesleyan tournament. The Hawks meet Kentucky State, Shorter (Ga.), Harding, and Nebraska Wesleyan in Owensboro, Ky. All four matches will be the first meetings all-time with each of the programs.

The Hawks will follow with their third tournament in the earlier going, hosted by American International on Friday, Sept. 9 and Saturday, Sept. 10. In Springfield, Mass., the Hawks meet conference opponents in Bentley and American International, both of which will be non-conference matches, and will battle East Region opponents in Daemen (N.Y.) and Molloy.

Saint Anselm returns to the Granite State to host Assumption on Wednesday, Sept. 14 and former Northeast-10 Conference foe, NCAA Division I Stonehill, in a pair of non-conference matches before opening the league slate on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at Franklin Pierce. The Hawks play 15 non-conference matches before meeting the Ravens in the conference opener. The highly competitive NE10 placed five teams in the 2021 NCAA Postseason.

Five of the team's final seven matches will be at home as the Hawks host Queen City Cup rival Southern New Hampshire, American International, and Adelphi from Tuesday, Oct. 18 through Saturday, Oct. 22.

The team meets Southern New Hampshire and Assumption on Tuesday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 29 to conclude their matches away from Stoutenburgh Gymnasium, both of which will be NE10 battles. The Hawks close the regular season by hosting New Haven and Southern Connecticut State on Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5.

Saint Anselm was winners of 19 matches last season and qualified for the NE10 postseason for the fifth consecutive full season of competition. The Hawks set a program record in their first six matches of the season, grabbing a win in 16 consecutive sets.
