MANCHESTER, N.H. – Kilian Hammersmith '22 has signed a professional contract with the Soderhamn/Ljusne Hockey Club Division 2 in Sweden.

"Kilian has had a major impact on the Men's Ice Hockey program since he arrived on campus four years ago.  His determination, focus, and work ethic are extraordinary both on and off the ice leading him to be a strong leader, a skilled hockey player, and great in the classroom." said Head Coach Larry Rocha '79.

Hammersmith, who was a co-captain in 2021-22 skated in 24 games as a senior, scoring five goals and assisting on 14 others for 19 points. Hammersmith ranked third on the Hawks in assists and fourth in points. He netted one power play goal and was responsible for one of the two shorthanded goals scored by Saint Anselm this season.

In three seasons of play in a Hawks sweater, Hammersmith skated in 70 games, scoring 16 goals and assisting on 28 others for 44 career points. During 2019-20, Hammersmith played in all 28 games for the Hawks and scored a career-high seven goals that winter. In 2021-22, Hammersmith posted career-highs in assists and points.
