Forbes Signs Professional Contract with ZKK Sea Stars in Montenegro’s Top Women's Basketball League

MANCHESTER, N.H.  – Saint Anselm College women's basketball alumna Tatum Forbes '26 signed a professional contract with the club ZKK Sea Stars of the Prva A women's basketball league, the top division in Montenegro.
 
The Sea Stars are based in Tivat, Montenegro and also compete in the Women's Adriatic Basketball Association (WABA), facing off against the other top clubs from Serbia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Croatia, as well as Montenegro. The Sea Stars open their WABA schedule on Oct. 10 against Bo2Mega Ježica, a club based out of Slovenia.
 
Forbes goes pro after three successful seasons on the Hilltop that saw her collect Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Year, D2CCA East Region Player of the Year, and WBCA All-America Honorable Mention honors in 2025-26. Forbes joins Melanie Hoyt '25 as the latest Hawk alum play professionally after graduating, as Hoyt currently plays for Vimpelin Veto of Finland's top division.
 
Forbes also picked up Northeast 10 All-Conference First Team and D2CCA All-East Region First Team honors this past season. Forbes led the Northeast 10 in scoring and assists, averaging 18.3 points and 5.1 assists per game. She also ranked fourth in minutes at 34.2 per game, seventh in rebounding at 7.1 per contest, and ninth in free throw percentage, shooting 71.3% from the line. Forbes earned Player of the Week honors three times from the NE10.
 
The alumna from Pawtucket, Rhode Island, started all 23 games for Saint Anselm in 2025-26, scoring in double figures in all but two games. Forbes posted three double-doubles and surpassed 20+ points in 13 games. She closed out her career with seven straight games of at least 20 points, tallying 30 points in two of those games.
 
Forbes was selected to the NE10's All-Conference First Team for the second year in a row, adding to her All-Conference Third Team selection from 2023-24. Forbes closed out her third season on the Hilltop with 1,359 career points, ranking 11th all-time at Saint Anselm. Forbes' assist average of 5.1 per game this season is the 10th best mark in program history for a single season.
