EASTON, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College men's and women's track and field team closed out competition on day two of NEICAAA (New England) outdoor championships at W.B. Mason Stadium on the campus of Stonehill College on Saturday.
MEN'S TRACK
- Sophomore Logan Montgomery won the 200-meter dash, clocking in at 21.31s to earn 10 points towards the Hawks' team score.
- Sophomore Leo Sheriff broke the outdoor program record in the 110-meter hurdles, placing fourth with a time of 14.46s.
- Freshman Gavin Lombara placed fifth in the 110m hurdles finals, finishing in 14.74s. In the preliminary race, Lombara set a new personal record at 14.63s.
- Sophomore Daniel Leet placed 11th in the 400-meter dash, with a time of 49.06s, setting a PR in the event.
- Sophomore Joseph D'Angelo came in 12th in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 22.05s.
MEN'S MULTI
- Sophomore Peter Hogan finished in second place in the decathlon with 5,915 points.
- Hogan won the discus throw on Saturday, reaching 35.36m (116' 0"), before placing second in the other three events.
- In the 110m hurdles, he crossed the finish line in 16.34s, a new personal record. He reached 3.00m (9' 10") in the pole vault, and closed out his weekend with a toss of 44.01m (144' 4") in the javelin throw.
WOMEN'S TRACK
- Sophomore Reese Nicolosi won the 400-meter hurdles with a personal record of 1:00.42, also breaking the outdoor program record in the event.
- The 4x100-meter relay squad of freshman Samantha DiFonte, senior Rebecca Cady, freshman Sophia Guzman, and junior Meredith Pasquarosa set a season-best mark, finishing in 48.10s for a fourth-place finish.
- Cady earned All-New England honors with a third-place finish in the 400m dash, clocking in at 57.29s as she set a new personal record.
- Sophomore Samantha Ducharme placed 12th in the 400m dash with a time of 59.10s.
- Pasquarosa came in seventh place with a time of 25.28s in the 200m dash.
WOMEN'S FIELD
- Freshman Mackenzie Hibbert placed seventh in the triple jump, reaching 10.77m (35' 4").
- Junior Sara Harris came in eighth in the triple jump as she leapt 10.60m (34' 9.5").
UP NEXT
The Saint Anselm College track and field team will await the NCAA's selections for individual competitors, which will be announced on Tuesday, May 12. The 2026 Division II Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be in Emporia, Kansas, from Thursday, May 21, to Saturday, May 23, hosted by Emporia State University.
