Three Program Records Broken at Merrimack Alumni Carnival

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College men's and women's track & field teams competed in the Merrimack Alumni Carnival, hosted by Merrimack College at Duane Stadium on Thursday. The team recorded three program records in the men's field events, set by freshmen Andrew Henaghen and Aidan Ryan.  

Men's Field

  • Henaghen notched a first-place finish in the javelin and logged a program record throwing 56.75m.  

  • Ryan placed two program records on Thursday, tossing 40.43m in the discus and 14.20m in shot put. 

  • Sophomore Peter Hogan launched his way to a third-place finish at 6.48m in the long jump. 

Men's Track

  • Junior Noah Carriere placed a new PR in the 200-meter at 23.92. 

Women's Field

  • The Hawks had a strong performance in the women's javelin, earning all top-five finishes. Their showing was highlighted by junior Harmony Marquez who placed first, throwing 36.00m, sophomore Erica Korowski who threw 34.27m and placed second, and junior Kylie Frank, who tossed 33.76m to earn bronze. 

  • Freshman Julia Guanci tossed a third-place finish in the triple jump at 9.16m and got a new personal best of 4.48m in the long jump.

The Hawks are set to compete Saturday, April 11 at the Ed Daniels Classic, hosted by SNHU at the Mark A. Ouellette Stadium.
