RINDGE, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's tennis team fell to Franklin Pierce University, 4-3, in a Northeast 10 Conference battle at the FPU Tennis Courts on Wednesday afternoon.

Doubles (2, 1, 3)

• Senior Julie Börschig and junior Claire Kochenbach were defeated, 1-6, at No. 2 by Sara Gonzalez and Ana Munoz.
• Seniors Irene Garbo and Natalia Gonzalez Ramos were victorious by a score of 6-2 over Ainhoa Ordonez and Gabriela Yamate at No. 1.
• Senior Camila Heredia Osante and sophomore Polina Makarenko put together a 6-4 triumph at No. 3 over Ines Gabarro and Dylan Smith to secure the doubles point for the Hawks.

Singles (6, 5, 2, 1, 4, 3)

• Heredia Osante swept Smith, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 6.
• Kochenbach was defeated at No. 5 by Munoz by a score of 0-6, 1-6.
• Börschig lost 1-6, 1-6 at No. 2 to Gonzalez.
• Garbo fell at No. 1, 3-6, 3-6, to Gabarro.
• Makarenko fell to Yamate, 3-6, 3-6, at No. 4.
• Gonzalez Ramos won a three-set battle at No. 3, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4.
