MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's tennis team was narrowly defeated by Assumption University, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon in Northeast 10 Conference action at the STA Tennis Courts.

Doubles (1, 2, 3)

• Assumption swept all three doubles matches to claim the opening point.

• Junior Claire Kochenbach fell at No. 6 to Beren Vapur.
• Senior Camila Heredia Osante dropped the duel at court five to Marian Aguirre.
• Senior Julie Börschig fell at No. 2 to Darja Trinerova as the Greyhounds secured the victory.
• Senior Irene Garbo won at No. 1 singles (7-5, 6-1) over Marie Knispel.
• Sophomore Polina Makarenko posted a straight-set victory at No. 4 (6-4, 6-1) over Mia Monje.
• Senior Natalia Gonzalez Ramos secured a three-set win at No. 3 over Laurence Bosmans (6-7, 6-4, 10-6).

The program's four senior student-athletes were honored in a pre-match ceremony.
