NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Northeast 10 Conference released its third edition of the outdoor track & field weekly awards for the 2026 season, highlighting sophomore Reese Nicolosi of the Saint Anselm College women's track & field program as the Track Athlete of the Week, the first weekly award of her career.
She earned the honor after winning both of her events, setting two new program records, and hitting a national qualifying mark.
Nicolosi had a record-breaking day at the Ed Daniels Classic hosted by SNHU on April 11, competing in both the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles. She placed first in both events, clocking in at 14.31 in the 100 hurdles and 1:01.23 in the 400 hurdles.
In week one of the outdoor season, junior Sophia Morin became the first woman in program history to hit an NCAA provisional mark. This week, Nicolosi became the second to reach the mark, achieving it in the 400 hurdles.
Nicolosi and the Hawks look to build on their momentum as they prepare to compete in the George Davis Invitational, hosted by UMass Lowell at the Cushing Field Complex on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18 the meet will be streamed on ESPN+.
